First Sequence is designed to introduce very young children to the concept of events that occur in sequence.  Unlike other sequence sets, the very young child’s emergent concept of time is considered.  To the very young child, a sequenced event must be contained in a very short time span.  These cards show young children doing things in which the sequence is complete in a few minutes, using very simple, familiar experiences.  Ages: 3 and Up
